Comet M4 SWAN on Sept 30th 2006 in the evening sky at 21.20 LT as seen through the 8.5" F/7 reflector. Streamers and possible jets were glimpsed during moments of good seeing. The comet could be seen moving rapidly eastward during the session. The coma was a blue/green colour with a blue ion tail 1 degree long.
